As first I thought it was simply a browser error, however it seems to be legit.

Woah, Bing certainly had a big increase, I think it had a PR of 2 before, now it's 9 :O.

Does Google do these unexpected mini PR updates to keep domain sellers and web sellers off their toes?

Also, is it normal for a website to have 520 pages indexed in the site: command and flucuate from 490 to around 500ish?

one more thing is if u guys have noticed temporary PR boost. google assign some PR to your site and then revoke it after some weeks

I think this update is really meaningless. I think as time progresses, Google is more wary that PageRank is now a useless factor that doesn't really serve a purpose anymore. I've seen people in Digital Point with a PR 6, and his website was made a month ago with only 6 backlinks. 5 being PR 0, 1 being PR 6. I think Google is trying to tell us that PageRank is shit, and we should only worry about SERPs.

Completely agree with....even one of my website has a PR4 and I dont have much traffic as compare to one of my site which doesn't have any page rank but have good SERP has way more traffice....(though I dont know how I did it I was optimizing for PR but did not get any I mean 0 PR but the traffice is like boom) and now I am only interested in SERP.

Still, I am reassured because one of my sites which I thought had incurred a penalty went from PR1 to PR4. Surely, page rank wouldn't shoot up like that if I was blacklisted.

Fake PR? Really? How do you do it? While this may not do crap for my traffic what will it do for selling domains? :D
