The general public don't really take EM serious as a rapper he is talented very very talented but if another rapper has rapped the same lyrics the same way with the same beat we wouldn't care about it, and we just laugh at EM when he does it...not in a way like your garbage but in a "Hey your pretty good" type of way. Core Hip Hop fans don't care about EM like that sorry ...I think some of his music is cool though, He will sale records ...But if you ask a real hip hop heads who's in your top 5, he won't show up in the top 10.

we def don't take Ross and lil B serious! we take EM a lil bit more serious then them and that's only because of affiliation (Dr Dre)

Are all classic album, EM doesn't have 1 and it's not because his material isn't good enough to be considered classic it's because we don't even take him serious enough

MMLP is a classic and a masterpiece, I doubt that eminem will top it. But one thing is for sure MMLP2 is going to be BEAST, and definitely better than recovery!! Im so hype just knowing that in 2 weeks and a half MMLP2 comes out.

Those are not industry classics those are what YOU! call classics. As far as murdering Jay-Z on Renagade so did Biggie on Brooklyn's Finest what's your point?
Biggie came out and said Method Man murdered him on his own song on ready to die...that still doesn't put method man in the Top 5 dead or alive.

If an album (MMLP) is the second best selling rap album of all-time, with songs like stan, the way I am, kim, etc is not a Classic then I don't know what is.

You might be right, maybe I am the only one that considers them classics, but I have good reason to believe so.

Especially when I can listen to it in 2013 and still not tired of it and I agree with you Reasonable doubt is a classic but that doesn't mean MMLP isn't

that's the point. his execution is flawless and unmatched. lots of people I know who most would consider "core hiphop fans" list em as top 10 easily. It's only the hipsters who are trying too hard to be exclusive and anti mainstream anything that say Em is shit.

100% agree with you. Heck when the conversation of top 5 rappers come up I always joke and say top 5 rappers not including eminem because IMO he was a "rap god".

Don't confuse me as someone who is giving his opinion, based on only listening to em. I listen to biggie, pac, wutang, nas(To me 2nd best rapper), and the list goes on.

This is how I can tell you know little about Hip Hop....Your record sales have nothing to do with if the classic or not. Reasonable Doubt only sold 500k records
but its a classic, Illmatic only sold 500k records but it's a classic. EM has no classics at all...sure he sold 50 million records reaching the classic status is a very high bar
to reach and your record sales won't help you. Everything has to be on point the whole album has to be... Perfect.
