Hi guys,

i am working on my second project.

The main keyword is "jobs in new york" .

The landing page content is optimised for these, now i do the second page

domain.com/jobs-in-new-york/

there also should be of course the same keyword.

Does it make sense?

Na i would not do that. So your main topic should be on the front page covered as long as the frontpage is static.
I would theb go for sub pages like: how to find a job in new york, where to find jobs in new york, is it hard to find a job in new york and so on

yes but in your example the keyword also will be "job in new york" or?

Your domain selection does make sense, but you shouldn't expose the kw you're likely to target. How do you plan to bring visitors?, GL

Don't do that. It will create keyword cannibalization. Google will confuse which page to rank as both pages will be optimized for the same keyword. If you are not aware of what it is then you should read this one.

You are confusing the google my friend by targeting the two pages for same keywords.
