E Tickets

I am looking to hire a developer who is able to set up an automated e-ticketing system for my website.

When someone purchases a ticket for one of our events (either through Paypal or through our merchant banking eCommerce account), I want an automatic email confirmation to be sent to them confirming their purchase and attaching a unique e-ticket.

Obviously each confirmation email must be unique for the purchaser (i.e. must have their name, the time they brought the tickets, and the money they spent on them, as well as their individual eticket).

There also needs to be communication with our Paypal and EPDQ eCommerce accounts - the confirmation email should only be sent once we have confirmation that the money has reached our accounts.

Up until now I have been sending out confirmation emails manually but there must be a quicker, more efficient way of doing this.

And if there any any super talented developers around......we could even take this one step further....
Rather than sending out automated email confirmations and tickets, is it possible to send out automatic SMS confirmations/tickets?

I already have an SMS gateways account set up, so if there is a way to integrate/automate that, I would be very interested in hearing from you.

Just been lurking and learning around here for a couple days, so I have no rep here whatsoever however, I am a seasoned developer (spend most of my time in PHP these days, but know Java, C and some more esoteric languages) and would be interested in talking to you (or for that matter, anyone looking for some *COMPETENT* programming (educated in the field, have both corporate and Open Source experience, etc.)
