Well, with that being the case, then you would want to target shoppers that would be possibly interested in cloths (I'm assuming women would be your best targets). Then you would need to learn the ins and outs of email marketing, from what software to use, to learning how to pitch. But first, you should read up on the Spam laws.

That is for you to figure out. There are alot of different softwares out there, each one suits different people differently.
What one(s) would you recommend ?

Alot is also going to depend on how you obtain your leads. Aweber is definitely good, because of the opt in system they use (which pretty much saves your ass). Still, I can't stress enough though, read the spam laws and know them well before doing any type of email marketing. Good luck to you

I recommend installing either PHPList (free) or Interspire Email Marketer (paid) on a dedicated server. You still have to deal with complaints to your ISP if you aren't careful but its more flexible than using hosted services like Mailchimp.
This gets back to what 2011NFL was saying about reading about the laws and best practices. There's a lot to it, and it would be more efficient to do a quick google search that to learn about it piecemeal here, but suffice it to say that when you send a message that is marked as spam, it's not good.
So it's good to get pretty familiar with what you can and can't do. It's not terribly complicated, and that's why it's so helpful to read up on it-- it will save you a lot of time in the long run compared to the amount of time it takes to read up on it in the beginning.
All that being said, using a service like Aweber will help a lot. They are in the business of sending email so they have a lot of tools to help you be successful.
It will take some work, but it's an extremely useful skill to have! Good luck, and never give up!
