E-mail address verification - any tools to suggest?

Hi - does anyone know a brute forcer tool for the following purpose:

I have a list of names (first and last) of companies and the domain they would have an email at....

Is there a tool that I can enter these details that would brute force a positive ping reply.

So, for example, I have Bob Jones who I know works at example.com.

Variations will be BobJ@[I]example.com.[/I] or BJones@[I]example.com.[/I] or Bob.Jones@[I]example.com.[/I] etc etc

Does such a tool exist or am I just dreaming? THANKS!!!

I have seen some thing that can verify whether the email address exist without sending emails. but forget how it is done.

Basically just do a Hi Steve email - ive seen that on this forum - some people call it the Hi Steve trick where you simply say "Yo Steve, lets meet up! I'm in Houston next Fri. Did you watch the game last night btw!? WTF?" Something like that. Looks innocent and sent to the wrong people.

Hi. There are several email checking tools that you can use to validate email addresses. What these software programs actually do is that they connect to the mail server to identify whether a specific email address is valid.

Here are a few tools you can try -

I do that with my own scripts, using regex expression
\b[A-Z0-9._%+-]+@[A-Z0-9.-]+\.[A-Z]{2,4}\b

You could also use some existing scripts / services such as tools.email-checker.com or email-checker.com
 
As suggested the best way to test an email is to send an innocent message and ask for a delivery request or better a read request...

Many tools just connect to the smtp server and verify if the email address is valid, the only problem is that many servers doesn't allow this type of request or by amny reason since your request is not a genuine one it will be blocked by the server because it is seen as a bad request outside the protocols... So the better way it will be do send a innocent message.
