I've been thinking about going into my first venture of Amazon Affiliate marketing. I had thought about launching a full-blown ecommerce site (I'm a programmer/designer so all that would be sacrificed is time) and filling it with amazon products.
Then I thought about the cost to run it, which is where I got stuck...
Due to the low percentage that Amazon gives, I'm afraid it's not financially smart to do this. It would take 10,000 UVs with 1% of them purchasing at a 4% commission to churn out $400. 100,000 UVs is only $4,000.
Is this a worthwhile model?
