Im looking to start a e-store site I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on a CMS.

I need all the normal stuff of course that e-store has. But I need one that also can do affiliate referrals (like amazon does) and the ability to have a feed. So my affiliates dont have to retype everything, they can just yank it off my feed. Also would like it to be able to be SEO optimized.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Not sure about the affiliate stuff, I havent researched it but the best eCom CMS is magento. Highly recommended.

I have several eccomerce sites all on magento, google magneto plugins, if what you want to be able to do isn't a standard feature, there's sure to be a plugin for it.
As for optimisation not a problem at all, my sites fully optimised and all Seo optimisation tools tell me they are, pm if u have any problems, il try and help where I can

I do have a few questions... If you dont mind, John(rep given).

What version are you using? Community, Enterprise, or Go?

I dont really like the restrictions of Go, but does the Community version have the plugins and all that?

Also hows security? Ever had any problems?

I use the community edition, I haven't used magento go before, as for security, on my first site there was an issue of a script being placed thought the contact box, this was 4 years ago. Magento has improved a lot since then, I always get a hacker to check over my sites now.

I see someone offering a magento store doing what you want it to do, il try and find the thread when I'm on the pc
