Sorry to post this in the blackhat seo section but I didn't really know where to post this in general. Anyways, I'm looking to build a new website and I'm looking for suggestions on a good platform to use. The website will be like http://www.dhgate.com. I want to get sellers who will come on and be able to build their own "store" within the website. I also want them to be able to sell in bulk etc. and have similar functionality any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I think Magento would be the best option.

In his other thread he was clearly looking to hire someone to do it for him. This one he is merely looking for advice.

I'm looking for some reviews I guess for a multi vendor shopping cart? I found 3 or 4 last night online. I'm considering opencart or one of these wordpress plugins like marketplace ecommerce. If anyone has used these for a multi vendor website (marketplace) and has a review please post.

Miiduu only allows for a maximum of 5 storefronts.

I'm using http://www.opencart.com over years on all my shopping sites.
Excellent platform. Master it and you will never need anything else.
With few good (paid) plugins for onpage SEO and Cashing you will have 1st class shopping portal.

Just get a bespoke one built. I've fucked around trying to make square pegs fit in round holes in the past and it's just not worth it. It may cost more initially, but you'll save in the long term.

Opencart doesn't have anything for what I'm talking about.

If you selling small products OR using it for small store then i suggest you wordpress with woo-commerce OR if you need a eCommerce site with full-level of featured then Magento only :)
