e-cigarette offers

Can anyone recommend good networks or individual e-cig sites affiliate programs.

I've been surfing around site by site to e-cig sites I can find and signing up. Most of these have a 48-72 hour turnaround time (argh). I'd rather just cut to the chase and find the best converting highest payout offers. Well, wouldn't we all. But if I can avoid or cut down on testing that would be great. That said, I do want to find all of them that are available.

So I've found sites like Blu Cigs (now advertising on shoemoney etc.), E-cigs, SafeCigs,Halo, E cigarettes national. They are all over the map in terms of the quality of their websites.

And yeah I've thought about sourcing from the wholesaler that's on BHW, but I don't know that I want to deal with being a retailer and having to deal with collecting taxes, customer service, handling returns and all the other stuff that comes along with it. Affiliate = send traffic, get paid, no mess. That said, look at Blu. They are building a brand around basic Chinese components. I can think of some great brands and marketing ideas to sell these things. Ok now I'm going to talk myself into it, better stop. Back to affiliate programs.... any suggestions?

purecigs.com - in the middle of updating the affiliate page so its not super informative ATM, but basically its 20-30% standard performance based commission, multi tiered, and negotiable for good affiliates who work closely with us.

How do you find the traffic to your site?

I would of thought it a lot more profitable to sell them directly. I am working on a site just started for terms like "cheap electronic cigarette" etc. When it ranks well i'm gonna let my little sister run it.

I'll hit you up when I circle back around to focus on the e-cigs again. I put a site together and threw it out there to get ranked but haven't touched it, been tied up with some other sites...

I'm planning to do a web series/online video show type of thing for the site.

I've been operating under the assumption that e-cig sales pick up more towards the holidays, am I right in assuming that?

And just to follow up on my original post. I signed up for almost all of the programs I could find online. I wrote up a small amount of content and posted it on the site along with some banners and text links, started up the off site SEO machine, and then dropped it while I work on my other sites. I checked up on it and I noticed that some of the programs were tracking accurately, while others were not counting a lot of clicks that I could see going out. I need to go back through and drop the guys who are apparently shaving clicks and boil the site down to just the top 3 offers or something.

As for how to get traffic - I do offsite SEO, press releases and video marketing. Video is my thing. There are other ways too. Its just marketing. Don't put all your eggs in the G-oogle basket. Construct a story, create a reason for there to be publicity, and then create the publicity.

I set up an ecig site im already in the top ten pages for "electric cigarette" and variations and in the top 20 pages for electronic cigarette inside of a month.

Anyone want to do a link exchange type thing. If we post an article on our sites and link to each other, a few on topic reciprocals are good seo.
