E-book --> Traffic?

Hi BHW, I would like to ask you a question. I need your suggestions on how to make money off an e-book.

I believe my website is in pretty good order, with a CTR of around 3% and overall navigating and functioning nicely. A time ago I downloaded an e-book through utorrent, and just today I read that the book is creative commons; so would that mean I could 'give' it away for a small fee, like say a FB-like or G +1?

At the moment the website is reaching only around 60-100 visitors a day. Increasing traffic is my main goal for now. How would you use that e-book for generating more traffic?

In other words: what do you consider the most valuable (FB-likes, G+'s, etc.) for boosting traffic?
 
You can try social bribe. People can only download the ebook if they share your website on social media first.

Setup a aweber or something similar on your website. Instead of social bribe, get them on your emails list. If you can get monthly 1000 subscribers, with a right pitch you can make $X,XXX and I can assure you that. You can reach more traffic just by giving them a good level of content that can make them to share on their FB/G+ profile.
 
Theres no problem in doing that, at least you're not selling it lol. Just create a content locker or something like that and ask for people to like you on facebook to access the file.
 
Good ideas here, thanks! I was thinking something along the lines of that socialbribe plugin, however I'm working on a smaller budget than to allow $100 expenses... I'll definitely keep it in mind though.

Isn't there a cheaper way to exchange the e-book for a social like?
