Wanted to get some feedback as to whether you guys thought this was a good idea/bad idea. I have a couple of different products that I want to get ranked for. So I wrote the content on my page and incorporated a spinner so that it randomly chooses which version of the article to show, effectively switching between my keywords. The idea is that I can have 1 page and search engine crawlers can see my content changing but I can get ranked for both keywords because I'm not sure which one converts better.

i.e "For the best look you should {cut|tr****" [Not my words, just an example]; I have more spinning that that going on in the page but am not sure if I will get penalized for having too much of a content change to often; Anyone have any experience with this or advice?

RECAP: Is it better to have 1 page with "current"/changing content or multiple pages with stale content?

lol oh my gosh that would be such a trip: toss in a huge spintax of like 10 combined articles into 5 paragraphs or something and have a script that generates a spun copy each time someone visits that exact URL.

Today the article is about dog grooming, tomorrow doggy treats, on the same page. Not dynamic posts, but it still is dynamic.

I have no idea how this would turn out, if it would be seen as duplicate content, how it would be indexed. But this idea could actually become huge.

You need to test this. I'm thinking how to also.

I was thinking about setting the cache on the page for 1 week or some other arbitrary time limit, thus determining how often the page gets "new" content

I don't know what to tell you but I like your idea. Maybe not in the exact way you've described it but it sounds like something worth checking out.

Have done this years ago on some adult blogs for testing, all the content of all blog posts are spinned automatically, but I didn't see anything good happened, ranks worse than other blogs, I failed.
I don't know what do google think about this kind of content, it seems they hate this.
Anyways you should try, maybe you will have different results, good luck.
