Hi.

I have an adult website ranking well on the serps. The affiliate im with let you create multiple websites to generate revenue.

I have contacted my website designer and he said he could do the site half price if i use the same layout as my current website, but use different images, text etc..

Would this be seen as a duplicate website by Google, or would i be ok as the images and text etc are different?

Any advice appreciated :)

No, it won't be a duplicate. If the content is different, then you are fine.

There is nothing like a duplicate website, it is the content that matters, make it different and you are ok with the same script and layout.

Content is the King, I use the same templates and change the content only in my sites. all ranking in first page.

Yep, as others said, using the same theme is fine, so long as the actual content is unique.

And as BigBig mentioned, if this happens to be a Wordpress site, you could copy it over yourself. If you're going to have to replace the images and text yourself anyway, then you might as well copy the site yourself, too!

As is said above - the thing that makes a site 'duplicate' is the content (ie words) rather than the visual layout... I have dozens of sites each using the same custom theme, and no issues at all.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I think you gave me the answer:)

Really appreciate it.
