Duplicate Content

I know duplicate content is bad from other sites but is it ok to use duplicate content off my own website as I have a few towns on the website and I can't really do much different content per town so is it ok just to use the same content for each town/city??

I can change the first sentence or 2 to match the town its selling in but thats it the rest of the article would be 98% the same as the the other towns..

Just to mention i'm also selling the exact same service in each town..

No you can't use it , google dont like it even you use same content on same website .. google like uniqueness so you need to rewrite your content first then post on your other websites
