Hi Guys,

I have one query related to duplicate content. The query is Amazon and Flipkart both e-commerce sells iPhone 13 and the specification, product name and features of the product are also the same on both platform. but why they both (amazon & Flipkart) can't get duplicate content issues?

Experts pls help.

I don't know where you got the information about duplicate content, but whatever people say about duplicate content, it's all just a myth.
Google doesn't care much about duplicate content. It considers more than 100 factors to rank a site. For example. Let's assume you've launched a new site and posted the content which is 100% original and SEO optimized, and I have an aged domain with very good authority. Now, if I scrape your website and copy all the content and post it on my website, the probability of ranking with that duplicate content is higher for my site than for your site. However, the converse may not always be true.
People copy posts for various legal reasons, and as long as the websites comply with the Google terms of service, Google will rank them as per their algorithm.

You'll need different content for each, or just switch links to either using the same content.
