I've been tossing up the idea to either use a content spinner with wordflood mixed in ** to PUT CONTENT ON MY ADSENSE MINI SITES

    or

write unique content on all the pages and backlinks from blogs, articles, etc.

WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE with "duplicate content" and does it work for you? Have you been sandboxes, banned, or anything else...?

I have one article which is at #1 on Google out of over 400,000 results. It was supplied by my clickbank vendor so it must be duplicate content. Having said that unique content is always the best option.

In my opinion, it depends on how many people have the content and the ranking of your site.

Only use unique content on your money sites. Don't publish it anywhere else. When you are building properties that link to your sites is when to use spun content - it works great for creating linkwheels, etc. Try to get the articles at least 30-40% unique though. The more the better.

    always use unique content

if you use dup content then it will get filtered out if it's a low authority site

Dupecontent is problematic in 2 situations only:

1/ If you have several times the same content on your own site
2/ If you have backlinks from different sites but with the same content

In case 1 your pages are going to get penalized and none of them with this dupcontent will be displayed.
In case 2 you will not get the link juice from all the sites, that would be too easy :)

But if on your own site you use an article that has already been published elsewhere you can still rank for it.

If you make Google think that your page is more relevant for the keyword you're targeting than the other sites using that content then this is your page that is going to be displayed.

Basically just make sure that you have relevant categories and tons of backlinks and your dup content will (almost) be as if it was unique.

Duplicate content isn't much of an issue in some instances. For example, you can easily just yoink ezine articles, copy them word for word and then rank higher. I have a couple of niche sites that rank with 100% duplicate content. :D

Unique content is always better though. Just much less convenient for starters.

    Don't worry about duplicate content.

Google will only filter out some of the results if they have no links coming to them.

So, it doesn't matter if your content is used elsewhere so long as you have more links and a better quality of links.

When I do the search "site:mysite.com", it shows many pages like "mysite.com/tag/blahblah" or "mysite.com/category/blahblah" or "mysite.com/page/blahblah", And only display very few normal pages. Is this duplicate content? How do I avoid that?

did you even read what he wrote?

he's talking about internal duplicate content because of url structure

    1. you can fix it with an htacess file (with linux servers) for www/non. www
    2. you can fix it with canonical tag or attribute for the main article page
    3. you can use nofollow on tag/category pages
    4. check for any internal/external links that point to www. and non .www and/or category/tag pages
    5. use robots.txt to nofollow tag or category pages

Yep, just like nodoubtgq79 said, I got trouble in internal duplicate content. I will try to add nofollow tag in robots, how about robots meta, can it finish the job?

MFA sites you can just create crap content and get indexed, easy.

If you want clicks on ads I'd create REAL content, either rewritten (PAR rocks) or original, $2 per article.

A lot of people will tell you that spinning will make you money from Adsense, this is true but the bounce rate for garbage is going to be significantly larger than good text.

Kinda see above ;) If you have one original article written well wil rewrite ready phrasing (i.e.: {origina|variant1|variant2}) then you can rewrite that out countless times to the same keyword domains many times, therefore it's good and unique. etc etc etc.

Dupe content is kinda silly. If you post an article or same text as one other you'll more than likely still get indexed, however many people bombing that text it (G) will choose one or a few if changed slightly.

Dupe content isn't a good option for long term strategy. You want to build sites that last instead of burning them up for Adsense, right?

Aged domains = no sandbox im my experience, buy em up. Bans come from abuse on MFA sites (auto-generation, cloaking, representing content against TOS etc). Just don't click your own ads and don't pay people to click them.

People will have opinions on these ideas but I have found these ideas to be my core and I am somewhat successful with Adsense from microniches to major areas, from a few cents per day per site to a few hundred per day per site.

    HTH.
