duplicate content with different location niche offline sites?

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering i have several websites that are currently being created for different locations but with one niche (lets say dentists)
and i was wondering would it really affect my SEO that much if i used the same information for example the FAQ and the about page?

Since all of the updates Google have being doing lately im not sure i could get away with it.

Was just wondering if the people that have multiple sites on one niche, do you have duplicate content?

I have several sites in the same niche that have exactly the same content except for the city names, and they're all ranking on page one for their main keywords (and all are exact match domains). I will say, however, that I set them up 1-2 years ago, so they may have some "domain age" going in their favor. I really don't believe that the duplicate content is an issue, especially if you're not linking the sites together.
