Better to avoid posting the exact same article. Use a rewritten/unique version for PR with a link back safer and works better.

Although... if the article is long (let's say 3000+ words), you can extract the newsworthy part from it (say the 500-1000 most newsworthy content) to use as PR, I've seen this thing being done in the past and it worked, because the PR brings the people back to your page where they can read the full story.
Would you then link it back to the blog article from PR? Like read more type of redirect?

that's not a redirect, it's a normal backlink (and a good one too if the PR gets published on quality news sites).
And yes, you link back to the article on your site, that's the whole point of PR: bring people to your site via the PR links

It's fine, but make sure the news site uses a canonical tag pointing to your original post. This prevents duplicate content issues and ensures your website gets the ranking credit.

It’s okay, but you need to manage duplication properly or the original page may lose visibility.
it may be possible but i will consider the second article as a standalone one nd not a duplicate. modify the structure of the article add more examples and make it suitablle for that particular audience. it is better to have a natural link than duplicating the same content.

Better to repurpose or rewrite it for the news or PR site and link back naturally to the original safer and more useful for SEO.

Yes, but I wouldn't publish the exact same article word for word.
Search engines are generally good at recognizing duplicate content. While there's usually no "penalty" for syndicating your own content, Google will often choose one version as the canonical source, and the other may struggle to rank.

It can work, but I prefer rewriting the article for the other website. Same content repeated many times may not give much value.

the second post would be considered as a fresh piece nd not a duplication. while keeping the main theme, changing the title the organization of content, examples nd the angle will make sure that it is not a duplication but a fresh piece for the readers of the blog. only one relevant link to the articlle will be added.

Yeah can do it, but I’d avoid publishing the exact same article word-for-word. I’d turn the second version into a unique PR news piece with a different angle and link back to the originalusually a cleaner approach and gives the external placement adding more value

i would steer clear of copying the second post verbatim. while the two posts may share the same subject matter i would try to vary the title nd examples to make sure there is a fresh take on the matter. otherwise, linkking back to ur own piece would not make much sense.
