Duplicate Content Filter

    How can you tell that the content you generated is unique enough ? Is there any definite rule to this ? eg: if 80% of the content is unique than it will pass the duplicate content filter.. does google look for word by word ?

    I haven't heard specific cutoffs for % of what is acceptable or not but here are two good sites for checking the similarity:
