I am attempting to improve my electrical contracting website. I wanted to do geo-local service pages for each town and zip, for example GFCI Smithtown XXXX1,GFCI Jonestown XXXX2, etc... If I included an infographic that explained how a GFCI worked and or saved lives does this affect the duplicate content rules? or Do I just name the pic xxxxtownGFCIExplain.jpg for the town it is in?
My reasoning were that most people just don't "get" electricity or how it works. So if I can have some type of visual or every page that I can get. I can attempt to cultivate the image of the electrician whom explains stuff to you. I believe the Big G00gle will find that to be reader experience worthy. I just don't have the time to do a custom infographic for every city and condition.
Worst case, have a generic GFCI page and a specific town landing page with links for all the terms that lead off with their own page? Much less work I guess, but I am trying to dominate my local service area.
