Hi everyone, I was wondering if you get penalized for duplicate content if you re post an article from your blog onto your social media accounts.

I don't think you are penalized if you are using from your own blog. But, I don't know for sure. I would like to know it too.

My opinion is not to use duplicate content. Always try to use unique content. It's much more better.

It will be ok, you can always add source from where you took this article, but as @Barycane said it's always better to use some spinner, even simple one to make unique article.

You should try to drive traffic to your blog from social media. Post an excerpt, not the whole thing.
