Dumb question regarding videos

Why do some clickbank offers only show a video? When you visit the landing page a whiteboard video auto-plays and that's pretty much the only thing on the page. There's no "order now" button or anything. I'm guessing this is a sales tactic and it must work because some of these are the highest converting products. I guess someone who is willing to sit and watch the entire video is more likely to buy..?

They make sure the "x" in the corner is the only possible exit until you hear what they want you to hear. They don't want you to see the price until you're already sucked in
