Dumb Newbie Banning Question

When/if I/You get banned does it mean like personally? they track your ip and everything or just your sites ip and you can throw up another site with a different host and domain and your all set to go?

if you are referring to search engines they will just ban your domain thats why a lot of people use cheap throwaway .info domains
 
Yeah, your IP isn't going to get banned because a lot of people use shared hosting or dynamic IP addresses, so it would really just end up hurting a lot of innocent parties.
 
To prevent from this, you just use dedicated ip hosting. If its not clear just rise up your question please.
 
OP, I'm not sure I understand your question. Could you please explain a bit more? What ban are we talking about here?
 
Depends on the ban. It can be the account, IP, MACnumber, etc.
 
Why are we digging up a thread which is from 2007 ?
