DUI at the McDonalds

So, late last night my husband and I decided to go to McDonald's for a burger. Being the unsuspecting citizens we are...we obviously did not surmise the impending drama that followed.

In the drive through lane, there was what we initially thought an impatient asshole in front of us, who kept revving up his engine and inching his vehicle towards the car ahead of him. Impatience however, went to the whole next level when this impervious fool decided to rear end the car in front of him. Evidently, this mere rear ending was not to his satisfaction. So, he decides to put his car in reverse, and ram into the car in front of him so hard that he pushed it a good six or so feet. My husband and I just looked at each other in utter disbelief, as if to say, WTF!

To make a long story short, the cops ended up showing up and arresting this dipshit for DUI. They drug his ass out of the car, slapped some cuffs on him and hauled him off to the country jail. The people who got hit did not appear hurt but their vehicle sure was jacked up.

Just thought this was a little too bizarre not to share. :rolleyes:

I bet the damaged car owners will be flooded with calls from lawyers with a way to sue Mickey D's over it.
 
Well, the drunk didn't kill them.

But the Big Macs are doing their dirty business as we speak, slowly poisoning them with saturated fat that's clogging their arteries.

Damn, now I gotta go to Mickey D's and get me one of those...
 
Can the victims actually sue that ass clown for being so impatient? i sure don't want my car to get ramed from behind by someone's car and not compensated.
 
I actually support the right to drink and drive. I think that people should be penalized for the actual wrong they commit, not what they MIGHT commit. I drive slower when im drunk kuz im worried about getting pulled over

its idiots who speed, swerve in and out of traffic and do whatever else that cause the accidents. not being drunk.

and my heart goes out to anyone who is a victim of an accident involving a drunk driver. its just bullshit that they have to lump that guy in with the rest of the drunk drivers who drive hundreds of times a year and never get in a wreck

Maybe the guy's blood sugar level was a bit low and he was just tired of waiting for his food. I know I get a bit cranky when I'm hungry :-)

LOL...maybe if he didn't fall four times when he was being taken over to the police cruiser this would be a plausible excuse.

Oh...this toolbox is up shit creek without a paddle. Not only will he be formally charged with DUI, he will likely lose his license, have his insurance revoked (Michigan is no fault, so after his insurance company pays out a big wad to have the victim's car fixed they will likely cancel his policy) and face jail time. The victims can certainly sue this guy, and/or his insurance company for property damage and mental anguish. However, you cannot get blood from a turnip. Depending on whether or not this guy has had a past criminal record, he may up end doing a stint in prison for this in addition to paying punitive damages.
 
WTF that is crazy. Alcahol can make ppl do crazy things. BUt hey look at that guy on the grey hound bus in Canada. He was sober, just crazy. That story was sick. If ya arent sure what I am talking about go to youtube and search greyhound bus killing. The victem was sleeping and didn't know him from adam. Just like these ppl at Mc D's. They were minding their own biz and had no controll over the slow moveing line. What an Idiot. These ppl should be sent to the front lines in a war zone and let em go.
 
That's completely nuts. I guess some people need there Doubles.... Oh wait, you can't but doubles at night, McDonalds screws you into buying Double Quarter pounder meals at night... $7 for a burger..

I worked at McDonalds for 8 months. Crazy shit happens all the time, specifically at night.

My proposal is that we have a happy hour for drunk drivers - so between 2am and 3am, all the sober people get off the roads and let the drunks drive home.
 
Are on these moments when In 10 or 15 seconds max I take my 1.000.000 stun gun and shock that stupid jerks right on the neck! Then if wanted to will kick them in the face. You can always say the cops you were defending others of such a drugged idiot.

Fast Food is the bleh. Just finished a organic fruit smoothie yum. Eating fast food is a great way to get a long three hour nap started only to wake up needing some real nutrition.

Farmers Markets up, fast food down.
 
So basically he got drunk and then remembered about the commercial he saw where the dude rams the other car to get his burger.. I blame TV.. :D
