Hello guys , i want to know if someone have ranked his website on duckduck go , i would love if he share with us his or her experience

I have never actually tried to rank my site specifically for DuckDuckGo search engine. But I would assume there is nothing truly new about optimizing your website for it. The same techniques that work with Google and Bing would work with DuckDuckGo too.

You can`t compare google algorithms with the others mate

1. Because it`s impossible to have almost the same also.
2. Google it`s fucking smart.

I am not saying they are the same, ofcourse Google is way more advanced than others. What I meant to say was that same techniques would work, such as link building and social signals. But ranking on Duckduckgo would be much easier.

Unless I missed something, he said nothing about the algo..the same techniques that would help your site rank on Google and Bing would also work for duckduckgo.
 
never use Duckduckgo. How much traffic does it has in compare with Google?

I saw many sites which ranking on top and same results found on duckduckgo.
 
If memory serves, DDG used to scrape google's results to display but that was shut down. They now pull from another source, but I couldn't easily find out which engine they use. So it's not really a matter of optimizing for DDG, but more for their search provider.
 
according to most exspert i no with seo that duck is the equivalent of google and works on google algo.

so use old google seo ways .
 
My anime website search traffic is less than 1% from duckduckgo. Most of it comes from Google.
 
I just wanted to put this out there, DuckDuckGo is really bad for Amazon affiliates. They have their own affiliate codes, and so if you search for a product they will display their own ads injecting their own aff code into the links. I personally think DDG isn't worth going near for aff sites.
