RE Aftermath:
Beginning was interesting enough, then at 13 seconds or so it got downright enjoyable. Built up nice, and the drop was... okay. Pretty strong all the way from the beginning to the start of the second half of the drop, around maybe 48 seconds.
At that point it kinda lost me. I think the drop from Burned Chapters was both better made and a lot more interesting.
Again, your soft parts are pleasant to listen to... even a bit smart. And this one had something (that part after 13 seconds till the drop) that I could even get lost in for a while. Really good.
But the second and third time through didn't add very much in my opinion. There were some differences and a couple nice little bits but it mainly seemed pretty repetitive (in the "I've heard this already" way, not the "I'm glad it did this again" way).
The soft parts and the drops aren't mutually exclusive. You can mix bits and pieces from both parts together (the melody, not literal clips). You can change the melody, have it evolve... etc.
TL;DR version: You made some progress on parts but took steps back on others. Keep working on it, you'll get there. Try finding some classical music you enjoy and understanding how composers tied their pieces together.
