Let's say I just want to have multiple Facebook accounts. Wouldn't ditching my cable modem (which of course has static IP) and getting DSL with dynamic IP's be the cheapest/best solution?

Or do I need a proxy like CloakFish to do this successfully?

No, it's like comparing sillyputty vs. playtdough. Yes, dsl you will get new ip, but it can still be traced back to your ISP so if you plan on doing something bad...it's a no-no. Cloakfish hides your IP behind another of your choice and refreshes occasionally. Also playdough can hide your IP to, just shuv it on the back of your moniter and/or shuv it in the cd drive! Hope that helps!!!

...go cloakfish!
