I need someone to create a script that will reset my DSL connection every 10 seconds or whatever amount of time I specify so that I'm given a fresh IP address. Please PM me and post your price. Thanks!

P.S. for all you keyboard jockeys this isn't for CL so no need to go ham

Be careful, as any quality isp company is going to be monitoring this as a stability issue, calling a ' reset signal break error ' and will then investigate you and if discovered, you will have your account and service with that company terminated and reported to the FCC and the FBI for further action.

Reason - this is against federal law and falls under ' remote tampering with a public utility service ', which phone and internet services are recognized as by the US federal government.

If you don't want men in black jumping out of the bushes on your front lawn, find another way. Besides, all the work will be for nothing because the ip addresses from a personal home dsl connection only have 5-10 unique ip addresses per account and then cycle up to a back up set of the same number, depending on the server setting allowances.

well so much for that idea. i was going to use it to test a site of mine for a new spam protection feature I implemented to prevent the use of dsl as a means to.... well i dont need to explain myself in full to a bunch of webmasters... basically what CL does to prevent spammers.

how do people who use dsl to post on CL or lease out remote dsl connections not get tackled by guys in black? especially considering they're using their connections for shady purposes?

In most cases, they are using remote servers in other countries and using the bandwidth within those hosting companies and using basic ip masking scripts. As soon as the 2012 international internet monitoring council comes together to set the standards of internet laws on a global level, this will no longer be a possability either, I'm sure.

However, the council still hasn't been finalized for the election stage as to whom will sit on it, muchless any of the rest of it. It gets honorable mention at best on the modern political top topic list.

Still makes an exclusive ip connection for you to receive the signal in the area, which is contained within your wifi modem. Works under the same limited ip address listing process and all of your resets will be logged into a gps location, which means you can not only be tracked but found directly. You may as well call the FBI in on yourself and have martha stuart come in to decorate.
