Hi guys, i would like advice from experimented droshippers, how do you handle the Chinese NY ? What do you tell to your customers ?

Some of my suppliers take 2-3 weeks off...

Just put a disclaimer on your site saying that due to Chinese new year it may take longer.

What do you tell to your customers ?

As Chinese New Year approaches near we would like to apologize any delay or inconvenience caused as we are busy counting our Red Packets we received from our relative and cashing them into the bank as we felt this action migration should cover our 1 month sale. We hope you chill the fuck down and relax and see you after Chinese New Year. Happy Chinese New Year!

Hows this one?

I'm just joking haha, what can i advice you to do is set your site under maintence or renovation thats the best excuse,I got some of my chinese friend in the US who also run their business and dont want their customers to know their product is from China as well haha.Best of Luck

I've got a notice on my site saying they'll be a delay of 2 weeks for the orders to get shipped but people still seem to be buying. I was planning to scale down on the Ads I had running but I've just left them as it is.

Just put a notice or sticky banner at the top of your site, saying that the products are on backorder because you have been selling so many, and there will be a shipping delay for a few weeks, until the orders are caught up.

This projects the illusion of a hot selling/popular product as well...
