im wondering what the most someone droppshipping has ever made in a single month?

Assuming you are talking about selling to western nations, dropshipping from China doesn't work most of the time unless your dropshipping wholesale lots as a broker or unless you tell your customers upfront that the shipping takes a while because it's from China and they don't care.
Finding a good, local dropshipper is hard to do and the prices are very bad. The only way to make good margins in dropshipping is if you are good at niche marketing and can attract folks who will knowingly pay more for their stuff. You have to give them a reason to.

Oh, I forgot. If you want a dropshipper only because you do not want to ship stuff but you have money to buy wholesale at good prices, you can always higher a fulfillment warehouse who will ship your orders for you. Of course, this costs money so you will have to buy enough to get good wholesale pricing.

You never want to dropship from China. You purchase goods in bulk from China (wholesale pricing), not dropship.
Most people are using Amazon to dropship to their Ebay account. That is the most reliable way of finding a dropshipper without paying for retail pricing. A drop shipper typically charges you fees, has you sign a contract, and you are limited to only selling for them. It's not worth it IMHO.
Why have your hands tied behind your back when all the profits can be found in plain sight with a little searching on Google and Amazon.

You could dropship from amazon to ebay or vice versa.

Yes, it still working. I think that AliExpress in ok. You can find many suppliers ready to work with dropshippers. I personally use AliDropship plugin (https://alidropship.com/) to search for products, so, suppliers, in turn, basically provide the full range of services traditionally associated with dropsipnning business: they store items, arrange shipments, provide sellers with tracking codes and, if required, customize the delivered packages by designing them in style of the dropshipping store they work with.

If you're looking to get into dropshipping, Amazon to eBay is the best way to start off. There's very low barrier to entry and so there's a lot of competition. Also, there are many tool to automate the process for you.
