    Good evening everyone,

Does anyone have experience with dropshipping in the EU, or specifically NL?

Here it's mandatory to start a business when doing anything e-commerce related because of taxes.
When selling services and / or selling Alie items we have to pay several taxes.

Let's say I buy a items for 3$ and sell it for 10$, just for the example.
I can't charge back sales tax from item bought in China, so those costs are on my side.
Increasing the price to $3,63 (21%).
    The profit I make on this sale is $10 - $3,63 = $6,37
Here comes the income tax of a whopping 54%; $2,93!

This example hasn't even considered add costs...

    How can this be profitable?

    Thanks in advance!

Similar here in Germany. If you pay 54% income taxes then your income must already be high right? You can set up a limited company and hire yourself as the CEO.

Oh and don't forget about the CE laws

    Thanks for your reply.

So you calculate those costs in your price?
I'm currently working in IT, but want to slowly work towards my own business.
The height of the taxes is one thing holding me back.
Having to give away more than 50% of my profit in taxes is a big ouch!

    Of course.

I know what you're talking about. I have a German company, where I hired myself as CEO and have a fixed salary. Make as much business expenses as possible, where you don't have to pay taxes, e.g laptops, smartphones, "business" traveling. Any profits that remain in the company get taxed with a fix 30% rate here in Germany.

There's no other legal way to avoid paying these taxes unless you move to Dubai, Singapore etc.
