Well I will still probably market to germany because I think dropshipping is not that big here, so the competition is not that big. And I have to deal with the "legal stuff" anyway because I live in germany and the operate from germany

I'm having trouble understanding this thread because of its very vague description. It would be much easier to advise you on something if you'd share more details, such as:
1: why are you so fixated on German market?
2: what is that legal stuff that you are so worried about. As in, please elaborate on the law of German consumerism.
I fully understand that Germany in particular have very strict rules and I'm talking from experience in regards to eBay dropshipping. We avoided it eventually, as there was waaaaaaaaay too much of a hassle to create any stealth accounts within German eBay.

Yes, as long as you have good traffic to your website...because at the end of the day, customers are not able to tell if the item is dropshipped or not.
I have a simple dropshipping business model. It's not running as successful as before due to drop in traffic, but I still get orders every now and then.
I take orders from my site and get it dropshipped via eBay or Amazon, and I get keep the difference in value.
