a quick background story...
a couple years back what i call my "real world" company went under, business as we all know slow down outside of the internet which i happened to fall victim too. i managed to scramble up my money so not much was lost minus a lot of work which in turn left me with a lot of free time on my hands... anyways i sat around searching for new and alternative ways to make some money.
so i stuck some money into some equipment to build a business similar to one i used to work for in high school.
im slowly grabbing the concept of seo/social media marketing, though it seems like im reading into a different language at times..
anyways it all leads me to the following...
Dropship & wholesale:
-to my understanding drop ship is a service like wholesaling but i would get paid after the item is sold?
-if the answer to the above question is yes, whats the usual time frame for an item to be sold? if thats not met what assures that the recipient of that ship would send my items right back to me?
-if you havnt guessed it by now im a bit paranoid to offer a "dropship" service for the above reasons. or is my paranoia steering me wrong and drop shipping is the same thing as having a wholesale account with someone where i provide the item and i receive a payment.
the item im offering is an easy sell at around $15-25 on a webstore be it your own or etsy, ebay, bigcartel, etc.
im also located in USA, so shipping would be fairly quick and inexpensive. i work quick and as i expand it would only become quicker.
items would also be unbranded, so if labeling it would be all up to the receiver if needed.
id offer the item at around $10+ (depending on how heavily decorated)
