dropshipping question

im a noob a dropshipping but im looking to get into it since im growing a large IG network.

From what I've been reading up on it, this is no BH gimmick and it will requite me to set it up as an actual legal business, am i correct in saying that? from making deals with dropshippers, paypal business and having a business bank account basically if i want to get into this i need to start it as a business.

mm.. if this is the case i will have to wait until i am in a position to start a business and until then join a affiliate program and make money though them.

earlier this week i was contacted by a drop shipping site that's in my niche and they offer a standard 15% commission on every product sold through my link that i would receive from them. my concern here though is people will visit the site without clicking on my link (since it opens in the IG browser) making me lose on potential sales.

i've also been reading up on an amazon 'astore' which offer up too 10% commissions of amazon stuff sold, what are your thoughts on this? any other companies i should consider?

I suppose starting out as just an affiliate would be a safer option for to see how much i can expect to earn on if i start a business myself.

It might depend a little on where you are based, and also what your supplier requires of you.

I've done some low level dropshipping based in the UK and originally setup without being a business in a legal form. Probably should have been (and now am) registered as self employed but that's not too much hassle here. Still don't have a business bank account as it's not required for self employed in the UK.

Some dropship suppliers might be more strict about customers they accept onto trade accounts.

I think it's more complicated in the US but in the UK you should be fine as long as you earn below the annual tax limit around £10k.

Have you considered AliExpress drop shipping? They have good profit margins and with tools like Oberlo it's so easy to add products to your store and ship them to customers.

If I may ask, are you growin your IG network all in the same niche?

AliExpress is a good place to start a drop shipping business. However whether you go for an Amazon 'A'store or your own AliExpress E-Commerce Store, have you thought of how you will drive traffic to your store?

thanks for the info, i'll be moving back to the UK in the next month so its good to know that it wont be too bad to get set up, my main concern was with various suppliers being quite strict as well as receiving payments but i think that also depends on what i use for a store.

traffic won't be a big issue as im growing a larger network on IG in the same niche, this month i'm on track to gain about 45-55k followers absolute minimum across the network and with current expansions should be looking at a minimum of 100k new followers per month in the next two months with an aim to gain 150 to 200k plus new followers once all accounts are set up and running fine.

until im in a position to start my own online store/business, i would like to get my feet wet with affiliate programs to see what i can expect on earning when the store is setup as well as earning some money in the meantime.
