Dropshipping process, what is the lead to success?

Hi guys,

Couple of weeks back, i was banned at etsy which is my very first online business. Was upset for few days. After some thought, why not i open my own store via shopify. I would have to opt for dropshipping since at the moment, i dont have much capital for bulk order or large inventory to keep the stock. Furthermore, shipping from China is much cheaper. As i understand, choosing the right supplier is important.
There are certain things i would like to confirm before i do a kick start:-

1) Since im dropshipping from aliexpress, is it possible for me to request for my own brand? I've talked to some supplier but most of them don't. However, alibaba did that.

2) Would that be ok if the delivery came from China? Does it spoil my reputation? Many of the supplier agree they do dropship and don't include invoices or their company details on the package, however it will still shows delivery from China.

3) I will have to use the product images from supplier which they agree. Is it the recommended method? Since i don't own the product, i can only use their product images with some cropping if necessary.

4) I need to work on the product listing. Still doing research on how to. Im thinking to make it simple and not full of words.

5) Once my store goes live, what are things i need do to gain traffic? Any tips on improving the SEO?

I don't own any social media even on my personal at the moment. Hence, i believe it will not applicable for me . Is it really necessary? IMO, its really too late to start one.

Appreciate if you guys can advise me. Im thinking to start out by next week and hope my shopify can go live before the trial expired so i can see some result.

For #1, that won't be possible since it can be very expensive. But if you are doing enough volume, you can pay for some stickers and ask the supplier to stick it on. You would have to order the stickers bulk but it wouldn't cost much. A few cents each maybe, Idk
