Dropshipping payment question

Sorry if this is a newbie question.

If you dropship via aliexpress and use something like woocommerce do you have to buy the item yourself?

Is there anyway to order the product straight away from woocommerce?

Or is it just a case of spending your own money first or waiting for funds for clear.

Usually u just have to put your clients adress in aliexpress and the product goes straight to him .
Let me know if u need anything else.

You get paid through your e-commerce store, somebody buys the products from your website.
Then you'll need to buy the item and send it to him from Aliexpress using his contact details.
Don't forget to also fill in his phone number when you make an order, or else the item could get sent back to China if they cant deliver.

I did this mistake on my first dropshipping store, around 300 orders where sent back to the supplier.

If you'll be using Shopify instead of Woocommerce, you have an app called Oberlo, which simplify the order process from your suppliers.
You just click fulfill through oberlo, then the app automatically insert all the customers contact details into Aliexpress, then you just pay.

Thanks. I suppose the worry then is if you are successful then you could hurt your business if you dont have cash on the hip.
