Dropshipping or Wholesale, how to avoid tax?

Hi, I live in brazil and import here is very hard, if you import anything above 50 US$, you will be taxed in 60% of the total value (items+shipping), I want to start a business, maybe a store, so I was wondering how people here sell on mercadolivre.com (Its like Ebay.com , but on brazil) , how they use dropshipping and never get taxed ?

The reason I started this thread is because I want to import stuff and don't want to pay taxes. Also, I need suppliers, clothes, cell phone, cell phone cases, supplements (not false), toys, watches, perfum etc. I don't have a lot of money to start, so I cant buy all of the types at once, but I will certainly do once I start selling and getting my income.

Please, if anyone can help, you are welcome here.

60% seems like a whopping a lot. I do not know how import taxes exactly work in your country so hard to say if you could take an advantage of any loopholes. Sometimes just marking parcels as a gift and/or declaring low item value works. Tax evasion is against the law in Brazil (I guess) so you might want to consult with someone regarding legal issues etc.

Hello ORM, thank you for your reply. The government here is really hard on taxes... It's almost 100% tax chance on eletronics, and high chance on supplements, deppending on wheight and size of the box. And Yes, 60% is a LOT ! Sometimes they tax more than 60%, since each state has it's own law.

What kind of clothes are you looking for? I offer dropship women's fashion clothing.

I wouldn't do nothing until you no, otherwise you might become liable for money or even in court you don't want to bend no laws on tax.

you might even get lower tax bracket registered as a business.(who no ask there sorry.)

We also have this problem in our country. I don't do dropship or wholesale but the best guess is dropship. Dropship doesnt require you to buy the item first. You only promote them

Hello, where do you from ? I think about dropshipping, but I am afraid my customers can get taxed...
