Hello,
I watch many tips about dropshipping and will open something soon, but I wonder why people talk about Meta ads 100% of times usually.
Is it really a must to use ?
Is it that worth, to make money, I don't see how it can be that profit honestly.
Thank,

I recently saw a dropshipping course, where the instructor was saying not to use FB ads in the beginning as they are costly and Facebook disables the accounts most of the time.

He was saying to reach out to Instagram influencers instead and ask them to promote your products and get the commission shared. Don't know how feasible it would be...

It depends on what products you're selling. If you sell water in the desert, then no, Meta ads are not required.
If you sell Chinese electronics in USA/Europe, what differentiates you from millions others who do same thing? Nothing else but marketing, with a good phrase you may catch some ignorant who never heard of AliExpress or Temu. Where to find such good leads? Even newborn babies have Meta accounts now, so it's basically a no-brainer to advertise there.
But the product is what makes the difference.
If you go niche, you may see some success even with no ads.

Yes, I was thinking how can facebook ads can be better than organic viral tiktok

Well, viral TikTok videos are made for a different audience. Generally speaking , younger people, unemployed, who are looking for the funnies, not to buy stuff.
That's in general, there are some TikTok niches that may work, but Facebook has a broader audience.

I think use FB ads only if you have a good following on the platform already. But if you're just starting up, it may not be the best option for you. Maybe organic posting is better.
