China is a huge success when it comes to manufacturing some awesome stuff. I really want to delve into dropshipping from there but I don't know if it's viable. Anyone who has done it before to give me tips and tricks on how to go about it. I would really appreciate it.

Besides the language or cultural barrier and long delivery times, rules are the same as in any other venture: use common sense, test first before placing a large order, try to negotiation custom logo and packaging, keep in mind possible problems due to geopolitical reasons.

Aliexpress is good for this, find cheap products and buy them from high rated sellers.

There are many companies doing this kind of service in China, such as AliExpress, Larnt, Alibaba, CJ.
If you want to do it, you just need to determine your product category, budget and marketing plan, and then deliver it, customize it, etc. to them.

the best way is to find someone living in china as partner.
give he/she some profit and he can help you to purchase & send the item to your buyer directly.
use alibaba or other platform will need to pay transaction fee & tax. that's more expensive than partner.

Bring the items to the country you're going to ship from and build a brand around your product(s). That's the best way to be successful with dropping, a true brand people identify with and go to for the specific items you sell.
