Dropshipping from 1688.com - Complete guide

I just signed up to WeChat and I got a message from WeChat that unusual activity was detected on my account and I need another WeChat user to verify my identify and unblock my account. The WeChat user need to be signed up for WeChat over 6 months ago and also not exceeded the help friend log in limit.

Same here. Executed this thread idea yesterday but when it comes to WeChat, my first chat with supplier suddenly got blocked without reason. Tried to signup with 3 other phone with different connection.. still same. Any tricks?

As a local Chinese, i have some points personally.
1. I placed many orders on 1688.com. It's better you know how to compare with other suppliers. Many items are mis-title and mis-discriptions, just for the listing ranking. Not actual items. Need to check carefully.
2. For a Chinese, i always received the orders not as expected. DO NOT BELIEVE THE DESCRIPTION TOTALLY!!! Double check with the suppliers. If you do not know the language, it's not easy.
3. Return is a problem. I can return it quickly at lower cost, but when your orders shipped to oversea, and are not expected,cost much to return, for shipping US to CHINA is cost much than CHINA to US. And take long time. Many times, the shipping cost is much more than the items themselves. Better have someone or some company can do this for you.
4. Even the price is good there. But you get what you pay. Even have cheaper price at pingduoduo, which had IPO in USA. But i will definitely not buy anythings there.

I agree. In past I didn't use 1688 due to their complexity in shipping, document, etc while instead importing from Alibaba.
But to be honest I am going to give it a try now...
Anyway just heard pingduoduo. Is it the same thing?
Pingduoduo is another marketplace, items are huge cheap, sometimes they need you to ask friends to vote and share, to bargain for you. Thus you can get the items in a low price. I don't do it to bother my friends.
But generally the quality is poor, personally points, maybe some others don't think so.
Do dropping, Aliexpress or 1688, is a good way, just need more carefully. I never do that, just bought some accessories to create somethings not listed there.
BTW, many taobao or Aliexpress seller just copy the images of 1688 and re-sell in taobao and Aliexpress. I suggest if do not want to get some much trouble, you can just try Aliexpress. If you can fix it. 1688 is still a good way to do the drop shipping. Just pay attention i mentioned above.
