Dropshipping from 1688.com - Complete guide in progress

1688.com is a great dropshipping website but i stopped using it as i just struggled to understand. this has been quite helpful thank you. abit more understanding and i may jump back to it

very good guide. one think i don't understand how to ship the item and get a price for shipping if you are not located in China?

You can find many shipping companies on Google or Alibaba.com . Warning though: Shipping companies in Alibaba is shit and will rip you if you show any opening.

Personally I find out that the good shipping company is one that I find through word of mouth and not online.
 
The one I use only ship to my country, Indonesia. So, sorry, I cannot help you. Maybe you can ask from local small importers what freight forwarder they use. Are you planning to ship in bulk or just Dropshipping??

on my business, I have a good one but for my privet order (1 shirt, 1 shoe...) I am looking for a good forwarder ( mine is not making for small quantity).

hi, i use this service for my order from 1688.com and taobao.com [[webuyz.com]]
pros: they use Fedex-USPS, your clint will have a fedex tracking number all the time, and will come from NY, and the best part, they clean the bag from any ads and put a label on english, and most importan, for small orders like a bag the transit time to USA its 17 days or less

yes, but for small products, a ring that is $1.89 incl shipping on taobao becomes a ring that is $11 shipped from USA.
 
It`s a very good comprehensive tutorial on how to tackle 1688 and get better prices but the main problem regarding the slow shipping still remains. That is unless you are willing to order a big quantity and store/ship it from the US
 
I'm familiar with Aliexpress ever since but it's the first that I've heard of 1688.
A really awesome share. I've learned something new.

Price on 1688 is already high (bearing in mind that seller need to pay a platform fee to Alibaba). Try to go on wechat to chat directly with suppliers to get the best price.
