-Use unique images and descriptions
-Try to communicate as if you have owned, use and love the product.
-Research writing ad copy
-Be a little more patient
-Realize that your buyer can do research just like you do. If you can find it on Aliexpress so can they.
-Consumers are becoming more savvy every day. If you are listing high dollar items they will do more research. People that work hard for their money don't part with it easily (unless they are stupid)
If you target 18-24 year old age group products they spend more freely. Once people get house, kids, career they usually become tighter with their money.
I have literally made well over $100k on ebay alone (net, not gross) Ebay can be a pain in the butt for returns and complaints (for both the buyer and seller)
Think about the buyer for a minute. Why would I buy from you if I can get the same price on amazon or ALI ? There needs to be an incentive for the buyer.
- Is it cheaper from you ?
- Do they get it faster from you ?
- Do they get some extra swag from you (you see bundles all the time, IE a camera that comes with free photopaper or a lense cleaning kit)
Start with low end items you can purchase in a bullk (search for lots - a lot is a bulk order of an item)
Sell 50 cheap things fast, deliver quickly, get feedback and earn some buyer trust.
You will get out what you put in, making money is not (usually fast or easy), but if you build it they will come.
Cheers!
