Dropshipping as a Market Resarch Tool

It is true that with all the fees involved with Dropshipping, it can be hard ot make a sustainable income with it. Dropshipping electronics is impossible due to "big box" stores that order millions of units. They key is to find a dropshipper in a niche market that has good products and decent prices with low fees. This will not create an awsome income, but as you figure out which items are selling, you eventually start buying a case or two of those items and ship them on your own. Keep adding new dropshippers and new items until you have a good list of items to purchase yourself. Also you CAN NOT get a wholesale price if you dont have a tax ID number... do yourself the favor and get legal if you want to be successful in selling a physical product!

Go to google and type in start a business in ______ <----Your State

OR get a tax ID number in _________ <---- Your state

it can also be called a Sales Tax Number of Sales Tax ID and it's usually available from your state's tax commission. Keep in mind there's also a Federal Tax ID number, also called an EIN. You can get that from the IRS for free. Some suppliers want both numbers, some just want one but I'd say the majority want your Sales Tax Number from your State. Get both numbers just to save time down the road.
