I am planning to launch websites in Europe (DE and UK) and need recommendations on where to find suppliers for my dropshipping business. Should I focus only on EU suppliers, or is it better to look for suppliers in China for more competitive prices?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on what you're planning to sell. If it's your standard dropshipping products then go with CJdropshipping or find a private supplier on Fiverr. If it's custom made things like clothes, jewelry then I would suggest find something closer and more reliable.

If you want it to be a sustainable business, find local suppliers. If you want to leverage the price advantage using chinese products, do private labeling. That is the only way to control quality when dealing in chinese products.

Great advice!

Do you recommend reaching out local suppliers through direct email or another method?

Products from Chinese suppliers are usually much cheaper, which allows you to have a higher profit margin.

Afaik, chinese suppliers are heavily present on Dropshipping groups on Facebook, take a look at some of them
You can also check Alibaba to find more reputable agents and suppliers with previous reviews

Go with China, alibaba are selling volume and you can find there almost everything on aliexpress. If you buy from them, just be sure to use a quality agent to check stock before shipping. Good luck

The best look I had with finding suppliers was physically finding them. If you have the time, head to south east asia or China you can do lots when you are there. The post to the EU and US from some SE Asian countries is surprisingly affordable.

I will recommend you focus on china suppliers, but it's essential to know and understand the supplier you wanted to choose because many are very good in shipping to all country while many have limitations.

Hi.
I would definitely advise China. Try to find a local supplier, as absolutely noted above, it's common on Facebook.
Almost everything comes from China in one way or another and it's always more profitable

we could. just write me PM

Overall, none of you recommend going with EU suppliers like BigBuy.

I think trying Eruope at first it's better because you can make a good name for yourself at the beginning with good quality items, but later on you can combine them with china products which are cheaper most of the time

I am from bangladesh. Here Garments Iteam are very popular. If you want I can send the iteam. Or if you need your own design product. We can make it and send you.

Hi mate!

To find a supplier, I'd advise you to start by talking directly to suppliers on aliexpres or alibaba. Ask them if they do dropshipping.
But on this wonderful forum you should find what you're looking for! Good luck!

Been in the business for a long time trust me China is your best bet. EU or others might be overpriced but who knows you might get what you are looking for. I personally deal with lots of Chinese suppliers

I see a lot of recommendations leaning towards Chinese suppliers, and I get it—lower costs, more variety, and the ability to scale quickly. But has anyone here actually built a long-term brand using only Chinese suppliers without running into issues with shipping times, quality control, or supplier reliability?

I'm considering a hybrid model—using EU suppliers for premium, fast-shipping items while leveraging China for bulk, low-cost products. Has anyone successfully implemented a strategy like this? Would love to hear experiences, both good and bad!

I'd go with Chinese suppliers
Honestly, local supplier idea is clearly good, but when you compare the prices, it's impossible to compete, local suppliers are overpriced

You also have to be careful, getting a supplier is one stage, but shipping your items successfully is another.
