Hi guys, i recently came across a product thats has alot traction in terms of the sales it could get. Its currently only availble through amazon and the companies own personal website.

The brand itself is roughly 3-4 years old and has been recently had a bigtime celeb endorse it and now that specific celeb is going on the board of directors. My guess is to funnel money into the brand as the said celeb is a billionaire. Notice how im not giving much away, its cause i feel the company dont realise what a gold mine they are sittin on.

The product is almost a new invention and costs between £60-£100 in the UK right now. I recently emailed the company about wholesale oppurtunities and they havent really replied with a definitive yes or no. I noticed today that they have moved onto the amazon UK marketplace and are yet to venture into any other amazon markets.

Now i was going to list thier products on the US Amazon. Add 10-20% markup and ship worldwide as they offer that on thier website. Once thats done go to their website order the products and get it shipped to customer. My questions are is this viable ? Will amazon eventualy block my account ? What can the brand do if they notice me selling for a markup. Should i just use a stealth account and funnel money to paypal ? Which i am not too keen on really.
The products are premium products and i personaly think they will sell a shit tone, just nt sure how long it will last.

Eitherway let me know what you think Blackhatters

Come on fba/ amazon specialists
BUMP

Is the product patented? Does it have any trademarks associated to it?

The product is not patented but it is trademarked

For less hassles, you can get a deal with the original seller and become their sales funnel. This way you can completely bypass Amzn. You can also ask them for lower prices and there shouldn't be any issue with you getting a cut from the sales generated by you.

Let me know how it worked out for u.

Well, I'd say to ditch this plan. Why?

Here are the reasons.

1. You'd get kicked out for selling patented item under your own brand.
2. You'd have competitors, won't you? Then the problem is, all they need to do is report you to Amazon and you'd be out of the game.
3. If you are planning FBA, you'd need to have a strong PPC budget and knowledge
4. Your listing can get hijacked, closed, banned or merged with your competitors.

If you want I can offer you 2 way splitter (for hose nozzle) - I have 1000 units that cost me 4$ each - I`ll sell them for 1$ per unit
The reason is: I had a product on Amazon which I no longer wish to continue with due to changes in the market and Im stuck with 1000 units of 2 way splitter (they still in China at the moment)
If you are interested it would be a real bargain - You wont get sued or get any complaint since Im the only one who can do this since Im the brand owner
Let me know if you or any other here are interested
