Dropshippers -- any updates on suppliers from China?

I have been doing some reading around and seeing a lot of conflicting opinions on what's going on here. Its super annoying, as I now have a backlog of customers, even though I've given plenty of leeway on the agreed shipping times on my store.

I wasn't aware of chinese new years issues when I start the store, and now this has made it a very rocky start to the store as I just figured out how to use facebook ads properly.

If anyone has news on the shipments and suppliers NOT FROM WUHAN that would be great.

China is closed for now and the trade will be very difficult for the upcoming months. I knew about the new year of chines and was ready for it but corona virus has stuck china and most of the factories are shut down. I suggest to find reliable sources for next 3-4 months because its effects are going to last even longer... Felt bad for you but its all luck and you need to look at every possible risk before starting .... Take it as a lesson and next year be ready for new year thats what you can do right now..

Yeah, unfortunately nobody could have predicted what would happen. This really fucked me, after spending months building the site and getting it profitable it just had to happen.

I am starting to see some shipments go out, but it looks like a lot of my suppliers are still getting back to work or just barely have enough manpower to move product.

They don't work, people don't even go out of their houses. I am in China atm. Most of the shops are closed. Public places are mostly closed, but since monday some of them open again (for example parks etc.)

Situation is still bad, but I don't think they can keep to close everything for much longer, otherwise the economy (not only Chinas) will collapse.

I guess in beginning of April things will be back to normal, but its HARD to predict, since the virus seems to spread a lot in Europe, Japan and especially in Korea now.
