I wanna start selling watches (how original, I know lol) and I've already thought about branding etc.. The thing is, I don't wanna do what everyone does, which is dropshipping from Aliexpress. I don't like it because I wanna build a real brand, have my logo on the watches, have short shipping times and give the customer a good experience (and avoid complains and returns).
Not sure if that's a good idea though? My idea would be to buy watches on Alibaba, have them private label them and send them to me (I live in Europe). I see the following problem here though:
The country I live in won't be my main market. Meaning, I would still have to ship it to another country (even continent) from here, which might be expensive and take a while. And if people want to return the product, they would also have to send it to another country again. Before someone mentions it, I don't wanna do FBA, so I don't wanna use Amazon warehouses.
What would you recommend me to do? Do it with Aliexpress instead and risk that customers won't be happy because of long delivery and not having the brand logo on the watch? Or are there any other possibilities that I haven't considered yet?
