Dropship Advice

I read too many things about dropshipping here, and i had a serious interest in it. I found many dropshippers, mostly Chinese, and i started listing good electronic on eBay. Something that was a pain in the ass is the 21 days fund hold by PayPal. I only sold one thing on Paypal for a dollar :S LAME. I was thinking of moving away from eBay and establishing my own dropshipping website, but i have no minimal idea on how is that going to work. I mean i can build a website but i don't know how to promote it or get customers to it + i don't know what script to use on the website. I read most of the dropshipping threads in the forums, yet i have not found basic advice on how to start a new website.

I've used Zencart, OSCommerce, some other free one that I've forgotten, and eventually settled on Interspire... I wouldn't touch anything else now. As for how to drive traffic, that's the same as any website. Backlinks to improve your site rankings, social bookmarking, interlinking within your niche, and various PPC campaigns.. there's more ways to do that of course, but that should get you started.
