Been building links to the great gold medal for several days, and have taken #1 on both Yahoo and MSN for my second most wanted keyword. Still got a little work to do for the other keyword(s) though.. Anyway, how come my rank actually went DOWN on Google? Haven`t done anything I shouldn`t be doing, so wazzap?
At first I thought that my competition had been building some links themselves and pushed me down a couple of notches, but if this is the case, why am I #1 on MSN and Yahoo? I know they`ve got a different algorithm, but shouldn`t the link value be somewhat similar when it comes to ranking?
