Hi all... This is my first post . I found some good products but at big quantities and I dont have enought money to buy this.... so Im loocking to make dropship from a site to another without to buy this stuff. Can be that made it or try anyone something like this ? Thanks and sorry for stupid question.

Dropshipping is different to wholesaling, a real dropshipper does not require you to hold stock, that's the point. I have done this before. What are your products

dropship does not require a investment except the webpage and that can be done for free.
be sure you find a good dropshiper. thats a big problem that they deliver reliable.

Thanks..... But if I create a new site for sell this stuffs will take more time to rank on google. However... . What pay system you use thats give money in advance? Can be that done on ebay for example?

Theoretically, dropshipping works without any investment. But :D,
1. You would need some cash to buy the products before you actually receive the money from your clients (eg: you use paypal to receive the funds from your customers and paypal needs 2-3 days to send your money to your bank account; during this time it would be a good idea for you to order the product and have it shipped to your customer, especially if you will use a dropshipping source which needs like 2-3 weeks to have the products delivered - AliExpress for example; furthermore, most customers are expecting to receive their orders pretty fast today...something like 5 days at max). So you would need to create a buffer of money which you could use for purchasing the products from your source before you actually receive the funds from your customers.
2. You could start by dropshipping on ebay, bonanza, etsy etc...where you don't have to pay anything upfront. But the competition is very tough there and you won't get too many sales, especially in the beginning because you will not know which products are hot sellers and they have not already been uploaded on those sites by your competitors. So, the wise choice here would be to start your own website (you'll need some money for domain name, host, theme - if you use wordpress) and some money for promoting your website (the cheapest option would be social media but you could try google ads, too).

So, theoretically you don't need money for starting a dropshipping business. But, in practice, you will need some money to get it running.

Dropshipping works, most major retailers have a significant percentage of their online business fulfilled via drop shipping.

They, however, have invested millions in their systems.

Check out inventorysource.com, i used them awhile back, and theyvwere reliable and had good customer service.

I'm not sure who you did drop shipping with, I never had to buy products upfront, that's the point, otherwise it's not drop shipping. Point one is totally wrong

Well most of the times you need money to buy and dropship
But I had heard some companies offer you products at 75% off so that you can sell ahead with full profit. By doing this although your purpose is not fully met but yeah you at least dont need large capital money !

Point one is totally correct if you use PayPal to receive your money from customers and dropship form AliExpress, for example.

It would take 2-3 days to receive in your bank account the money your customer sent to your PayPal account. Then, you will place the order and it would take at least 7 days for the product to be delivered from China (if you're lucky) . 3+7 = 10 days.
If your customers are in US, they would go nuts and ask for a refund if their order is not delivered after 7 days since they've sent you the money (Most of them are used with the 2 day shipping that Amazon is offering in US).
IF you buy the product from the Chinese seller right when you receive the order from your US customer, you have chances to meet the 7 days delivery limit and avoid refunding the money. But you'll need to use your money for this because the money you received from your customers will be available only 3 days later.

I'm pretty sure he's saying that you would need a cash buffer to purchase the item from your dropshipper, as the payment from your customer may not have cleared into your account before you have to order the product for shipping.

Why are you tranfering to a bank account, it's there in paypal

Because most of the Ali Sellers I buy from don't accept PayPal.

How do you buy the products for which you receive orders?

Oh I see, you're talking about aliexpress, I'm talking about drop shipping in general with Western dropshippers.

Oh...that's a different ball game :). Indeed, if you find a source that will accept PayPal payments, you can forget about the money buffer I listed at point 1.
However, I still stick to AliExpress because of the diversity of products that I find there and also because the extremely cheap prices these sellers are displaying.
But, I'm thinking of finding an alternative which will accept PayPal payments...

Hi Martin..... So you dropship to ebay. But if someone buy some products that you list here ...money dont stay blocked in ebay account until the product arive at buyer? So in this case you cant use money to buy from another seller. Thats why I dont undertand how work this dropships? Maybe is a stupid questions but I dont know much about dropshiping but I try to learn .

No bcoz buyer pays me first and funds available after some time. So it doesn't have any problems. And I have sufficient money to buy it again.
